Rep. Raul Labrador announces for Idaho governor

Here’s a great idea: Say one of the most insensitive things imaginable about health care policy, and then soon thereafter announce that you are going to run for governor of Idaho. Way to plan,  Rep. Raul Labrador. Now you can count on every news story that reports your campaign for governor will also report that you said “no one dies because they don’t have access to health care.”

After three terms, current governor C.L. “Butch” Otter is not running for reelection in 2018. Lt. Gov. Brad Little, Boise businessman Tommy Ahlquist and former state senator Russ Fulcher have all also announced for the GOP nomination.

Safe R here. I guess Democrats run in this state. Not sure why.
