More time in Washington and less time in Florida. Remember how Trump liked to say Clinton wasn’t strong enough to survive the rigours of the presidency? Trump doesn’t really want the job, just the title, and having won the election. No interest at all in being president. Maybe Ernst should be glad he is so unengaged; he’d only screw things up more.
It’s also worth noting that not a few Republicans must be nervous about the very high likelihood Trump will be an awful president. They must be contemplating scenarios that make them appear to be good team players now but create the possibility of maintaining distance between themselves and Trump in the future.
