For anyone still looking for a reason to be terrified of a Trump presidency, consider Attorney General Rudy Giuliani or Secretary of State Newt Gingrich.
For a while it looked liked a fool’s errand for Trump’s campaign to be seriously engaged in transition planning but, in fairness, that is no longer the case.
With the race relatively tight, the campaign has decided it would be helpful to put some names out there, no doubt because they believe “stars” like Giuliani and Gingrich will give some voters a degree of confidence that Trump has access to experienced people. Insane, yes, but also experienced.
If this is not enough to make Democrats sprint to the polling station, I’m not sure I know what is.
