Professional jackass, formerly known as the Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, says that he appears to have hit a nerve in questioning President Obama’s patriotism last week.
“I said it maybe 30 times before but somehow this time it hit a nerve, maybe because the president is on such defense for his unwillingness to face Islamic terrorism,” Giuliani told John Catsimatidis on 970 AM The Answer.
If you missed it, Giuliani said Wednesday that he did not believe President Obama “loves America.”
“He doesn’t love you. He doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up: to love this country,” said Giuliani.
In a rare response from the the Obama Administration to nonsense like this, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he “feels sorry” for Guiliani for the way he has “tarnished his legacy.”
It’s difficult to know what Guiliani thinks he’s up to here. This kind of criticism is vintage Tea Party dreck, the kind that has been losing support for some time.
Way to be ahead of the curve pal.
